Here's a pic inspired by one of the songs from the 2nd Hugo movie
 [link] The song was cute and stuff, although I don't know what they're saying more than half the time but it's catchy in its own way! xD Anyways I've been wanting to draw a pic with Rita and Hugo together since they're such a great pair  I still haven't gotten my lazy butt to make some scenery or more interesting BGs but I did throw in some notes (courtesy of MusicalElements) and a verse from the song xD ----- Honestly I wasn't very pleased with how Hugo and Rita were looking in the early stages of the drawing (the sketches). In the end the though as always the pic cleans up better than I thought!  but still I think I could've emphasized Hugo's pose and expression a little more since I threw him in last minute I rushed him a little  Enjoy guys! I saw the original English dubbed movie on youtube (though I never saw the last part in English) and it was such a wonderful little movie. Great animations.
I think you pulled the two character out really well. There's great contrast and interaction and their expressions are simply lovely. Not to mention the bright colors really add a little something to it overall
I was always confused, people said Hugo and Rita were just friends but... It seems a little hard to believe
